Michael has the same blue seahorse. He got it for Christmas 2008 and has slept with it for naps and at night ever since. During the day he runs around with his blue stuffed tiger.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01435416622418682832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4066108016896383194.post-18975239999036680532010-01-28T14:51:15.293-07:002010-01-28T14:51:15.293-07:00We got a couple of these that are quite nice. Or a banana that grabs things... Shay tends to carry toys (or socks.... or unused diapers....) around, but she chooses a new one every day, so I don't think any of them qualify as actual "lovies."

Depressing as it is for me to remember with this one about to arrive, but sometimes kids will only go to sleep for their mamas. Or at least that was the case with Bryn. Of course, it probably helped that I smelled like an all-you-can-eat buffet to her.

HOORAY for the 11.5 hours! I would kill for that kind of sleep right now, but alas, I am in that stage of pregnancy that you mentioned.

Last thing--on the swaddling--they really do make those blankets way too small. My solution was to sew together two (or four, depending on how big you need it) of those blankets, thus making a super-swaddler. Was a pain to do, but was still far better than washing the one big one every time it got a drop of spit-up on it. Otherwise, towels work in a pinch if you're really desperate. :)amypfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129268058612976895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4066108016896383194.post-56033359774136284162010-01-28T11:53:59.206-07:002010-01-28T11:53:59.206-07:00I highly recommend the cloth diaper "lovie.&q...I highly recommend the cloth diaper "lovie." Only Ethan ever really had a "lovie," and the cloth diaper was perfect. It was easy to wash and easy to replicate in case it was lost.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09711300527496983573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4066108016896383194.post-62160533825489060302010-01-27T18:40:51.506-07:002010-01-27T18:40:51.506-07:00I LOVE that YOU are Will's LOVIE!!!!!!!!!
